The most famous symbol of Rio de Janeiro Christ the Redeemer statue, commissioned for Brazil's 1922 centenary and located of Corcovado mountain, is a great place to get your bearings. To the south, you will see the Son Sul, Leblon and Ipanema beaches are surrounded by. Your east, Sugar Loaf is on a peninsula jutting into Guanabara Bay and overlooking glamorous Copacabana. In the north is Centro, Rio's historic center.

Equally famous Ipanema and Copacabana beach is the center of life, there is no shortage of beautiful people on this beach. Another view is not to be missed, especially at night Mount Sugarloaf that you can get a cable car.

This unique city that offers a long coastline, the mountains are incredible, endless museums, theaters, cafes and bustling with life and culture just waiting to be discovered. This does not sleep well with the world-famous samba companies and strong cocktails.

Spend the morning sunbathing and watching the girls go walking on the beach of the most elegant and Ipanema Rio. After lunch on crab caranguejos, go to Corcovado for great city views. Take the funicular up the Sugar Loaf or hire a guide and climb, if you feel energetic. Watch the sunset and then enjoy dinner and a samba show at one of Rio samba school.
